The Air More Uptempo Slide Slithers In With Reptile Skin
For a long time, the Yeezy Slide dominated the summertime open-toed footwear landscape. It was everywhere, and everyone wanted a pair. With that silhouette now going the way of the dinosaur, there's a void in the market, and manufacturers everywhere are scrambling to stake their claim. Nike is leading that charge with the upcoming Calm Slide and has another Air More Uptempo Slide colorway.
The newest Air More Uptempo Slide shows a dark presentation with a black nubuck foot strap. The signature "AIR" embossments are textured with snakeskin-like leather and a volt-green swoosh across the top. The midsole features the exposed rear air bubble and transitions from purple to blue.
The Air More Uptempo Slide should be ready for release before summer's end and will cost $85. Expect to see the slides drop on the Nike SNKRS app and other select retailers worldwide.
